Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 lifts PS5 fans with an exciting new upgrade

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has officially landed on the PS5 and PS5 Pro, giving console players one of the biggest flying experiences ever seen on PlayStation. The game lets you take to the skies with up to 125 detailed aircraft, fly across the entire world, and explore more than 40,000 airports, from tiny dirt runways to massive international hubs. You can fly in any season, at any time, and enjoy visuals that feel smooth and lifelike on Sony’s latest hardware.

One of the most surprising additions this year is a full Stranger Things crossover. Players step into a tense and mysterious story set in Hawkins, Indiana, where the town struggles with supernatural threats. The missions feature Murray Bauman, a fan-favourite from the show, guiding you through a mix of rescue flights, chase scenes, and risky supply runs in the Bell UH-1H Huey helicopter. Each mission brings a growing sense of danger, just like the series, but without spoiling anything for fans.

After finishing the missions, the game lets you explore a fully built version of Hawkins with over 40 iconic locations from the show. It feels like a small open-world map just waiting to be discovered by both flight sim fans and Stranger Things followers.
