Metal Eden finally drops September 2 after earlier delay

Metal Eden

The wait is over, Metal Eden is now locked in for release on September 2, and it’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

Originally delayed after demo feedback, the fast-paced sci-fi shooter from Reikon Games and PLAION is now ready to bring the chaos. And it looks mean.

Metal Eden release date trailer

You play as HYPER UNIT ASKA, an elite android thrown into MOEBIUS, a massive machine-run city turned deathtrap. Your job is to rescue the lost human COREs and wreck anything that gets in the way.

Expect wall-running, grappling, jetpacks, and a whole lot of mech-smashing mayhem. You’ll tear through the Internal Defence Corps, face off against mysterious Engineers, and uncover what really went wrong with Project EDEN.

Metal Eden mixes raw speed with heavy firepower and a brutalist sci-fi setting. Think parkour combat meets apocalyptic machines and then crank it up.

Reikon used the demo delay to tighten things up, and now it’s nearly time to see if it all pays off.
