Luna Abyss storms back with new trailer and 2026 launch window reveal

Luna Abyss

After more than two years in the shadows, Luna Abyss has suddenly burst back onto the scene with a brand-new trailer and a confirmed 2026 launch window. The sci-fi first-person action bullet hell is now set to arrive on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, alongside PlayStation 5 and Xbox.

Luna Abyss – The Eye Has Opened trailer

From the moment it was revealed, Luna Abyss grabbed attention for its striking visuals and heavy sci-fi tone. Comparisons to Destiny and Returnal followed quickly, but those links only scratch the surface. This is not a nonstop bullet storm. It blends intense combat with exploration and platforming, giving players room to breathe between the chaos.

You play as a prisoner sent deep into a colossal, broken megastructure beneath the mimic moon known as Luna. Your mission is to recover lost technology from the abyss below, all while being watched by an artificial prison guard called Aylin. Every step deeper reveals more about the fallen city of Greymont, the Scourge, and the strange powers that shaped this doomed place.

Movement is fast and aggressive. Sprinting, jumping, and dashing are key to survival. Combat throws corrupted souls and cosmic horrors at you, with weapons designed for specific situations as well as emergent fights.

If curiosity is already biting, a free demo is live on Steam right now. This abyss is open for business.
