LG Display is ready to make a strong impact at CES 2026 with a wide range of new OLED gaming monitors that push display technology forward. At the global tech show in Las Vegas, running from January 6 to January 9, the company will present several world first OLED panels designed for gamers and creators who want the best screen quality.

The highlight of the showcase is a new 27 inch gaming OLED panel that reaches an industry leading 720Hz refresh rate. This means the screen updates 720 times every second, making motion look extremely smooth. LG Display is the first company to achieve this refresh rate on an OLED panel. Along with this, the panel offers a response time of just 0.02 milliseconds, which is far faster than standard LCD screens. This helps remove blur and ghosting during fast gameplay, even in intense action scenes.

Another major reveal is the world first 39 inch 5K2K gaming OLED panel. LG Display is currently the only maker producing OLED panels in this size. The display uses a 21 by 9 wide screen shape and a curved design that wraps around the viewer. With a resolution higher than UHD, it is made not only for gaming but also for creative work like video editing and film production, where sharp details really matter.

Visitors at CES 2026 will also see the world first OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and an RGB stripe pixel layout. This special pixel structure allows very clear text and sharp images, which is ideal for daily computer use. With a pixel density of 160 pixels per inch, the panel delivers clean colours and accurate details, making it suitable for both gaming and professional tasks.
Alongside these new panels, LG Display is bringing its upgraded Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 technology to all gaming OLED monitors launching in 2026. This technology uses separate light layers for red, green, and blue colours. The improved version offers better brightness control and a more efficient pixel design.

Thanks to this new approach, the upcoming gaming OLED panels can reach peak brightness levels of up to 1,500 nits. They also support deep blacks with HDR True Black 500 and cover up to 99.5 percent of the DIC colour range. This results in more lifelike images with strong contrast and accurate colours.
Lee Hyun woo, Head of the Large Display Business Unit at LG Display, said the company is strengthening its position by offering features gamers truly want. He explained that with demand for OLED monitors growing fast, LG Display plans to expand its presence in the market from next year by leading with world class and first of their kind display technologies.
With these announcements, LG Display is clearly aiming to set new standards for gaming monitors and show what the future of OLED displays can look like.
