Lexar has just announced a big step forward in storage with the launch of its new 1TB Armor Gold and Armor Silver Pro SDXC cards. These cards are made for people who need lots of space and tough reliability in the field.
The 1TB capacity means users can store more photos, long video clips, and even large burst photo sessions without worrying about switching cards too often. For video makers, these cards also support up to 6K video recording, thanks to a V60 rating that ensures smooth capture without missing a frame.

In terms of performance, both the 1TB Armor Gold and Silver Pro cards offer read speeds of up to 280 MB/s. This makes it much quicker to move photos and videos from the card to a computer, saving creators valuable time.
Durability is another big highlight. Built from stainless steel, these cards are said to be 37 times stronger than normal memory cards. They also carry an IP68 rating, which means they can handle dust, water, and rough use outdoors.

Joey Lopez, Director of Brand Marketing at Lexar, explained that the new 1TB Armor series lets creators spend more time in the field. With the extra capacity, they can keep recording and capturing the perfect shot without worrying about running out of space.
