The anniversary stream celebrating a decade of Layers of Fear had the usual nostalgia. Then came the twist. A teaser confirmed the next entry is on the way.
Studio boss Piotr Babieno called the series a turning point. It helped define what horror means for the team. That tone still guides the studio today.

Creative lead Mateusz Lenart leaned into the artistic angle. He stressed the theme of obsession, ambition, and creative pressure. These games aim for emotional discomfort, not just jump scares.
The celebration was not only about games. The original soundtrack is heading to CD and vinyl. A publishing deal with Foksal Publishing Group will expand the universe into novels, starting with a 2026 book from Marta Bijan.

As for timing, do not expect quick news. The studio has other plates spinning. That includes Cronos: New Dawn and a remake of Silent Hill 1, following its recent work on Silent Hill 2.
Still, the message is clear. Psychological horror is not slowing down. And this series is far from finished.
