Kingdom Come: Deliverance upgrade rumoured for PS5, Xbox and PC in early 2026

It looks like Kingdom Come: Deliverance could be making a return in upgraded form. A new claim suggests the medieval RPG from Warhorse Studios might land on PS5, Xbox, and PC as early as the first few months of 2026.

Back in July, talk of a PS5 version first surfaced but never really went anywhere. No release window, no official word, just a lot of speculation. Now things are heating up again thanks to a Reddit user who has already proved reliable in the past – they were the one to leak the delay of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Kingdom Come Deliverance

Why players want it

The timing feels spot on. Earlier this year, Deliverance 2 arrived and absolutely stunned fans. It showed just how far Warhorse has come in crafting an authentic medieval world. Going back to the original game after that highlights the seven years between them. The first title still holds up, but the performance, visuals, and polish aren’t on the same level.

That doesn’t mean Kingdom Come Deliverance has lost its shine. It’s still one of the most immersive and realistic RPGs out there. But with so many players dropping into the sequel, an upgrade could be the perfect way to reintroduce the classic to a new crowd – and remind long-time fans why they loved it in the first place.

Nothing’s confirmed yet, but if this leak holds water, we won’t be waiting long to find out.
