Industria 2 demo released with Unreal Engine 5.6 and story-driven FPS action

INDUSTRIA 2

Industria 2 is here with a fresh public demo, and it’s shaping up to be something special. Bleakmill has confirmed this is one of the first games running on Unreal Engine 5.6, and from the look of things, the upgrade is paying off. Performance reports are already better than a lot of other UE5 projects, which is a big deal for anyone tired of choppy demos.

INDUSTRIA 2 commented gameplay

This isn’t a bloated open-world grindfest either. The devs are aiming for a focused 4–6 hour campaign, built around narrative and atmosphere. No online gimmicks. No microtransactions. Just a grounded story-driven experience. Personally, I love that approach, short, sharp, and filler-free.

Gameplay is where it gets really interesting. You’ve got physics-based interactions, a crafting system, and a fully diegetic inventory that keeps everything in-universe. The arsenal includes five weapons, each upgradeable with options like silencers, extended magazines, or even special attacks. And when the bullets fly, things get messy, enemy bodies break apart in fights, making combat feel visceral and weighty.

Audio and presentation seal the deal. Expect full voice acting, reactive music that shifts during action scenes, and crisp sound effects. Pair that with Lumen lighting tech, and the demo looks and feels incredibly alive.
