Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames have announced the next chapter in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it’s arriving on 4 September 2025. Titled The Order of Giants, this new downloadable content brings fresh locations, a deeper story, and plenty of danger for fans looking to continue their journey with Indy.
The DLC takes place during the events of the main game and expands on the mysterious Nephilim Order, the ancient tribe of giants that players met earlier. This time, the adventure leads right into the heart of Rome, where forgotten legends and secret societies lurk beneath the surface.

Things start when Indy crosses paths with Father Ricci, a young priest desperate for help tracking down a strange artefact. What seems like a routine mission quickly turns into a much darker expedition. From the crypts below Vatican City to the waters of the River Tiber, Indy’s hunt reveals secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.
You’ll explore new parts of Rome, including the Cloaca Maxima, an ancient sewer system hiding more than just old pipes. There are new puzzles to solve, new enemies to face, and more layers of the Nephilim’s history to uncover. One of the standout parts of the DLC will be Nero’s hidden gladiator arenas, where enemies don’t play fair.
And the threats don’t stop there. The Cult of Mithras, a new and dangerous group, stands between Indy and the truth. Alongside them, familiar faces like Father Ventura and Mussolini return, adding even more tension to the unfolding story. The DLC promises a mix of action, mystery, and that classic Indy charm.
According to John Jennings, Production Director at MachineGames, “One of the most satisfying parts of working on this game was creating the Nephilim Order. Their story is vast; it spans thousands of years. With this DLC, we’re able to explore new angles and share parts of their world that didn’t fit in the original campaign.”
If you’ve got the Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, Collector’s Edition, or the Collector’s Bundle, you’ll get access to The Order of Giants at no extra cost. Everyone else can purchase the DLC when it launches on September 4, 2025.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store.
