Hollow Knight: Silksong

The wait is almost over. Hollow Knight: Silksong drops in just four days, and Team Cherry has locked in the details everyone’s been asking for – price and release times.

After Gamestop jumped the gun, the studio confirmed the sequel will cost $19.99 / €19.99 (around £15.99). In Japan, it’ll go for ¥2300. A fair deal, considering the original became one of the most beloved indie hits of all time.

Hollow Knight: Silksong release trailer

As for when you can actually play, Silksong launches globally on Thursday, September 4. That’s 10 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT in the US, 4 p.m. across Central Europe, and 11 p.m. in Japan.

This isn’t just DLC. What began as a simple expansion has grown into a full-scale adventure. You’ll take control of Hornet as she battles through the kingdom of Pharloom, facing over 200 enemies and 40 bosses across mossy caves, golden cities, and misty moors.

Silksong arrives on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Switch 2, PC, Xbox. Plus, it’s landing day one on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
