Helegaly has set a launch date for its Action Pi handheld. It goes on sale July 5, 2025. The wait is finally over.
The base model costs $59.99 (~£47). It comes with a 64 GB microSD card. You can upgrade to 128 GB for $5 more (~£51). It’s available in black, pink, or white. Why the Helegaly Action Pi handheld is built for retro fans
Action Pi is powered by an Allwinner A527 chip. It has eight Cortex-A55 cores running up to 2 GHz. There’s 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of eMMC storage.
It runs Batocera, a Linux-based OS made for emulation. It supports over 20 classic platforms, from NES to Dreamcast. The 4.02-inch IPS screen offers a 960 × 720 resolution. The 5,000 mAh battery gives long playtime.
