The XR Series is the result of careful planning and collaboration with experienced professionals from across the industry. HAVN focused on creating a power supply that feels modern, performs consistently, and stays quiet even when the system is working hard.
Roland Gschwender, Product Manager at HAVN, shared that the goal was simple. The company wanted to deliver a premium power supply that builders can trust. Stability, silent operation, and high efficiency were the main priorities throughout development. The XR 1000W was tested both in HAVN’s own lab and by independent testers, with feedback used to fine tune the final product.
This power supply follows the ATX 3.1 standard, making it ready for current and upcoming PC hardware. It also includes a 12V 2×6 dual connector, which helps provide steady and clean power to modern graphics cards that demand more energy during heavy use.
Cooling has been designed with care. The XR 1000W uses a fully isolated H Series fan paired with a solid aluminium top structure. The airflow path is shaped to guide air smoothly through the unit, reducing turbulence and keeping noise levels low.
One of the standout features is how quiet the power supply is. With noise levels staying below 15 dB, it has earned a Cybenetics A++ noise rating. This makes it a strong choice for users who prefer a calm and silent PC setup.
Power delivery remains stable even during sudden load changes. This is especially useful for high end GPUs and processors that can pull power quickly. The 12V rail shows very little fluctuation, helping protect key components over time.
Efficiency is also addressed when the system is not in use. The XR 1000W includes a modern 5V standby rail that supports low power states, helping reduce wasted energy during idle and sleep modes.
