Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity reveals first three elite specs and they’re wild

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity reveals three classes

ArenaNet has revealed the first three elite specs for Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity. They are: Troubadour (Mesmer), Galeshot (Ranger), and Luminary (Guardian).

What they do

Troubadour replaces Mesmer clones with waves of sound. You’ll play magical instruments to damage enemies or support allies.

Galeshot uses wind magic and tengu archery. It fires storm-charged arrows and controls the field with gusts and whirlwinds.

Luminary turns the Guardian into a flame-clad defender. Its Radiant Shroud gives access to four light-forged weapons with bonus effects and alternate skills.

Guild Wars 2 beta in August, full release in October

The elite spec beta runs from August 20 to 27. All players can try it, no purchase needed. The full expansion drops October 28.

There’s more coming in Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity:

  • Four new zones (two at launch, two later)
  • A new story set on the island of Castora
  • Upgrades to the Skimmer mount
  • Two new raid bosses
  • A new Fractal dungeon
  • A public Convergence event
  • New weapons, armour, relics, and legendaries

More elite specs will be revealed soon.
