The GTA 6 price debate just kicked up a gear.
A new store listing from Loaded (formerly CD Keys) briefly showed GTA 6 price at £89.99 for Xbox. That is not a small jump. That is a statement.
If that number translated directly to the US, we would be staring at a $99.99 standard edition. No steelbook. No early access. Just the base game.
Now, let’s breathe.

This is almost certainly a placeholder. Retailers do this all the time. They plug in a high number to cover themselves, then adjust later. But here’s the uncomfortable bit, placeholders are usually close to expectation. Not random.
The same page listed a PC version for £60.99 via the Rockstar Games Launcher. That is odd. Especially when there is still no confirmed PC launch window. Console first still looks likely.
Budgets are exploding. Marketing is bigger than ever. And publishers have already tested the £70 barrier this generation. If any title can push the GTA 6 price into new territory, it is this one.

There has been no confirmation from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Until they speak, this is speculation.
But if £89.99 sticks, the era of £100 AAA games may not be far behind.
