GIGABYTE has officially released four new AMD Socket AM4 motherboards, giving PC builders more smart and affordable choices at a time when DDR5 memory remains hard to find and costly. These new boards are clearly aimed at gamers and users who still prefer DDR4, which is easier to buy and much cheaper in many regions.
In recent months, many users have started moving back to older but reliable platforms because DDR5 prices and supply are still a concern. AMD’s Socket AM4 motherboards continues to stay relevant, mainly because AMD is still launching Ryzen 5000 series processors even after introducing the newer AM5 platform. At the same time, Intel’s 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen processors also support DDR4, which shows that older memory standards are still very much alive.

The four new AM4 motherboards launched by GIGABYTE include the A520M H ARGB, B550I AORUS Pro AX version 1.4, B550M H ARGB, and A520I AC version 1.5. All of these boards use entry level or mid range chipsets, making them ideal for budget and value focused PC builds.
The A520M H ARGB is a simple and practical option for everyday gaming and home use. It comes with a single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, HDMI display output, and full support for all AMD Socket AM4 processors right out of the box. It also includes ARGB lighting support, which adds a nice visual touch without increasing the price too much.
For users looking for a compact but powerful system, the B550I AORUS Pro AX version 1.4 stands out. This Mini ITX motherboard is based on the B550 chipset and supports PCI Express 4.0 for both the graphics card and storage. It also features modern Wi Fi 6E, making it a strong choice for small high performance gaming or workstation builds.

The B550M H ARGB is very similar to the A520M H ARGB but offers extra performance benefits. Thanks to the B550 chipset, it supports PCI Express Gen 4 for both the main graphics slot and the M.2 storage slot. This makes it a better option for users who want faster SSD speeds and more future ready features while still using DDR4 memory.
Lastly, the A520I AC version 1.5 is an entry level Mini ITX motherboard designed for compact and low cost systems. It uses PCI Express Gen 3 and comes with Wi Fi 5, which is older but still reliable for everyday use. This board is best suited for small PCs, media systems, or basic gaming builds.
With these new AM4 motherboards, GIGABYTE is clearly showing strong support for users who want solid performance without spending too much money. As DDR4 continues to offer great value, these new boards give builders more freedom to create powerful PCs on a sensible budget.
