DALOAR, the studio behind The Occultist, has revealed its next project, Frame Zero, a first-person psychological horror game set to launch on PC in mid-2027.
The story follows journalist Emma Sullivan and her cameraman Daniel Foster as they investigate the mysterious death of Father Gabriele Amorth, a well-known exorcist. Their trip to his apartment starts like any other story, until they realise the building’s residents are already dead.

Things spiral fast when the pair stumble upon Amorth’s hidden secret: a possessed girl locked away in his attic for decades. She’s now blind, monstrous, and very much free.
When Emma vanishes, Daniel’s only weapon is his camera. Through its lens, players will explore the haunted apartment complex, uncover the truth, and survive the terror within.

Frame Zero looks to blend found-footage tension with slow-burn psychological horror, the kind that crawls under your skin and stays there long after you stop playing.
