A new trailer for Exodus is almost here, and fans are buzzing. Archetype Entertainment has confirmed it will drop during The Game Awards 2025. This is your first big look at the story side of the sci-fi shooter from the minds behind Mass Effect. The game is still aiming for a 2026 release, but this trailer could give us more than just visuals.
A closer look at Exodus
The game first appeared at The Game Awards 2023 and immediately turned heads. You play as a Traveller, part of a team that can jump through time across the Omega Centauri star cluster. Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey is on board, lending star power to the high-budget project. So far, only small bits of the game have been shown, but everything looks sharp, detailed, and ambitious.
The last trailer dropped almost a year ago, highlighting fast-paced combat and dynamic gameplay. With a new Mass Effect still far off, Exodus has quickly become one of the most anticipated sci-fi games on the horizon.

The Game Awards reveal could also bring a release date or window. 2026 is already stacked with Grand Theft Auto 6 and Marvel’s Wolverine, but Exodus is shaping up to stand out on its own. Fans will finally know more on 11 December.
