Exodus finally has a release window. After years of waiting, the sci-fi shooter is now set for early 2027. The news dropped with a brand-new trailer at The Game Awards from Archetype Entertainment, giving fans their best look yet at this Mass Effect-inspired adventure.
Exodus World Premiere Trailer from TGA 2025
First teased back at The Game Awards 2023, Exodus has always had that BioWare energy. Former BioWare developers are on the team, and the story follows Travelers who can leap through time in the Omega Centauri star cluster. Add slick visuals and Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey, and it’s no surprise fans have been watching this one closely.
The new trailer shows fast combat, bold visuals, and some seriously wild time-bending moments. It wraps up with the long-awaited confirmation: early 2027. The game will hit PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
Shifting to 2027 also avoids a crowded 2026, which has heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto 6 and Resident Evil Requiem. Fans still get a space fix with a new Mass Effect and an Amazon TV adaptation in the works.

If the trailer is anything to go by, Exodus could be one of the standout sci-fi adventures of early 2027.
