Escape from Tarkov is finally making its full release. After more than nine years in early access, Battlestate Games has confirmed version 1.0 will arrive on 15 November 2025.

The announcement came with a live-action trailer. The release date was teased first on a soldier’s broken watch before appearing on a computer screen to close out the video. It’s a dramatic way to mark the end of a long wait.
Players won’t have to wait until November to see what’s coming. The 1.0 build will be playable at four global events leading up to launch, with the final stop in South Korea happening as the game officially goes live.
What the new version includes isn’t fully detailed yet. With the long development cycle, players are eager to see what changes the final release brings. The public events may be where we get the first clear look at what’s different.

In the meantime, the game continues to evolve. Update 0.16.9.0 just went live, introducing balance tweaks and adjustments. Escape from Tarkov may be leaving early access, but it’s clear the journey is far from over.
