Descenders Next is out now. No teaser. No countdown. Just a straight-up drop.
It’s in Early Access on Steam, Xbox. It’s also on Xbox Game Pass for PC and console.
This is the sequel to Descenders, the downhill biking game from RageSquid and No More Robots. The first game launched over seven years ago. It racked up more than 35 million players.
Bikes, boards, and big air in Descenders Next
Descenders Next goes beyond bikes. You can now snowboard and mountainboard too.
There’s full online multiplayer. Huge biomes. Loads of tricks.
The world isn’t made of tracks anymore. Instead, you get random off-piste mountains. They’re stitched together with parks built by the devs.
It’s meant to feel wild and natural. Less like a game, more like a sport.

No Game Pass? You can buy it for £24.99 / $29.99 / €28.99 on Steam and Xbox.
RageSquid says more sports are coming. No hints yet. But they’re aiming to turn Descenders Next into the ultimate extreme sports title.
No word on PlayStation or Nintendo just yet. Last year, they said it’s “likely” coming to Switch 2. PlayStation is also planned, but later.

For now, it’s time to ride.
