Dead Reset, the next FMV horror game from Wales Interactive, Dark Rift Horror, and Northern Film, releases on 11 September 2025. It’s coming to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

You play as Cole, a surgeon trapped in a time loop. He keeps waking up before operating on a patient with something lodged in their abdomen. Each time he dies, the loop restarts. The trailer shows several violent and disturbing deaths.

Wales Interactive sticks to its FMV roots in Dead Reset

This is Wales Interactive’s 17th FMV title since 2016. The studio has worked across various genres, but horror has remained a recurring focus.

There’s no Nintendo Switch 2 version confirmed. Wales Interactive is one of several studios reportedly still waiting for development kits.

Dead Reset is shaping up to be a sharp, focused return to interactive horror.
