Corsair AIR 5400 redefines PC cooling with an impressive triple-chamber setup

Corsair has unveiled its latest innovation, the AIR 5400, a mid-tower PC case built to take cooling and design to the next level. This new chassis introduces a triple-chamber layout that keeps the system’s hottest parts apart, leading to smoother airflow and quieter operation.

The case marks a major step forward from the popular AIR 540 released back in 2013. While that model made dual-chamber layouts mainstream, the new Corsair AIR 5400 takes things further by giving the CPU its own dedicated cooling area. This design helps both the processor and graphics card stay cool, even during heavy gaming or rendering sessions.

At the front, Corsair has included space for a 360 mm liquid cooler that pulls in fresh air directly from outside the case. The warm air is pushed out through a sculpted vent, ensuring heat doesn’t circulate back inside. By separating the CPU and GPU airflow paths, the AIR 5400 delivers better thermal performance than most standard cases.

Air movement is one of the case’s biggest strengths. It comes with top and bottom air channels that guide cool air efficiently through the system. The bottom section uses three reverse-rotor RGB fans that send air straight toward the graphics card. The top section completes the airflow design, creating balance and enhancing the look.

Inside, there’s room for the largest graphics cards, with up to 430 mm of space available. The case is sold in two versions one with RS120-R ARGB fans and another featuring LX120-R iCUE Link fans. The iCUE Link edition also includes a system hub that connects multiple Corsair devices through one cable, keeping the setup neat and simple.

Visually, the Corsair AIR 5400 stands out with its wraparound glass panels. These panels open smoothly on hidden hinges, allowing quick access to components while maintaining a clean appearance. It’s a case designed not only for performance but also for presentation.

Cable management is handled by Corsair’s new RapidRoute 2.0 system. This setup uses movable cable anchors that can be adjusted to any position, helping users organise wires easily. The rear chamber hides the power supply, storage drives, and cables, leaving the main area clutter-free.

Builders using the latest reverse-connector motherboards from ASUS, MSI, or GIGABYTE will find plenty of space for tidy connections. Small touches like nylon cable brushes, quick-release fan screws, and an anti-sag arm for the GPU show Corsair’s focus on detail.

The top I/O panel is equipped with three USB-C ports, including one with 10 Gb/s speed, plus a headset jack and a power button.

Available in black and white finishes, the Corsair AIR 5400 blends performance with elegance. It ships with three pre-installed fans and includes Corsair’s two-year warranty.

With its triple-chamber design, advanced airflow system, and stylish glass build, the Corsair AIR 5400 proves that great cooling can look just as good as it performs a perfect case for both builders and gamers alike.
