Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to arrive on November 14, according to reliable insider billbil-kun. The information matches an earlier report from TheGhostofHope, who also hinted at the same release date last month. However, fans hoping for a Nintendo Switch 2 version will be disappointed, as no release is planned for the console at launch. It also remains unclear if Activision Blizzard will bring the game to the system at a later date.
The absence of a Switch 2 version comes as a surprise to many. Back in February 2023, Microsoft had signed a ten-year agreement with Nintendo to bring the Call of Duty franchise to its platforms. So far, no entry in the series has launched on Nintendo hardware.

Considering that Black Ops 7 will run on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the Switch 2 is known to be more powerful than those systems, players expected support. Clearly, some challenges remain before the deal is fulfilled.
Physical editions of Black Ops 7 will launch for PlayStation and Xbox consoles at €79.99. Pre-orders are set to go live on August 20, following Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley.

The game is being co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The campaign continues the story from 2012’s Black Ops II, with David Mason returning, voiced again by Milo Ventimiglia. Players will face a new enemy who thrives on fear.
Alongside the story, fans can expect a full suite of multiplayer modes and the popular round-based Zombies experience. Gameplay will also build on the omnimovement system first introduced in Black Ops 6.
