Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 launches with all six clans in base game

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

No paywalls, no waiting, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is dropping with all six clans ready to play from day one. Paradox Interactive has confirmed that Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra will all be in the base game. Toreador and Lasombra were previously planned as DLC, but now they’re free for everyone.

Instead of clans, Paradox is slotting in two story packs. These won’t be part of the October 2025 launch, though. They’re scheduled for 2026, expanding Seattle’s dark underworld after players have sunk their teeth into the main game.

Seattle is the heart of the action. You’ll stalk its neon streets, rise through vampire ranks, and decide whether to charm or crush anyone who stands in your way. Feed in the shadows, keep your Hunger in check, and most importantly, protect the Masquerade, or risk exposing your kind to the human world.

But here’s the kicker: Bloodlines 2 isn’t shaping up to be the deep RPG many expected. Early impressions hint at a more linear experience, closer to an action-stealth hybrid with RPG touches. If you’re hoping for a direct spiritual successor to the 2004 cult classic, you might need to reset those expectations.
