Activision has officially revealed the Black Ops 7 Season 2 roadmap, and it looks like one of the bigger updates the game has seen so far. The new season launches on 11 March 2026, bringing fresh content across multiplayer, Warzone, Zombies, and the Endgame mode.

In short, Season 2 is touching almost every corner of the game.

Endgame players will notice a new Glitch Fracture activity inside Nightmare Zones. These appear after defeating Strike Bosses and throw players into waves of enemies before a final fight against a new Glitch Boss. Beat it, and you unlock Nightmare Skills, which expand your Operator’s specialisation options. There is also a new Exotic Fabricator, letting players upgrade items to Exotic rarity.

Multiplayer is getting a big refresh as well. Five new maps arrive at launch, including the fan-favourite Firing Range and a reworked Yemen from Black Ops 2. Two new modes and a fresh Scorestreak called Lockshot are also joining the rotation.

Black Ops 7 Season 2 roadmap highlights

Zombies players will head to Paradox Junction, a new round-based map with its own main quest and enemy set. The Blundergat Wonder Weapon returns and can be upgraded to the Sundergat, unlocking powerful attacks for crowd control.

Meanwhile, Warzone gets the headline feature: Black Ops Royale. Inspired by Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, it changes how players approach the battle royale formula and pushes a more classic Black Ops style of play.

Finally, Season 2 introduces two new weapons, seasonal events, and the usual wave of store bundles rolling out across the season.
