Just two days before launch, Battlefield Studios has finally revealed the full PC specs for Battlefield 6, and they range from budget-friendly to pure overkill.
Built on the Frostbite engine, the latest Battlefield is skipping fancy extras like ray tracing this time. Instead, DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, and Criterion are doubling down on raw performance. No upscalers are needed until you reach the highest settings, that’s how confident they are in optimisation.
Battlefield 6 Official Launch Hype Trailer
From 1080p basics to 4K carnage
At the top end, Battlefield 6’s Ultra++ preset is made for hardware monsters. You’ll need an RTX 5080 and DLSS Super Resolution to hit 4K at 144 FPS, or Multi Frame Generation if you’re chasing 240 FPS. AMD fans might be a bit left out, there’s no listed equivalent for the highest tier.

Here’s the full breakdown of specs:
Preset | Resolution & FPS | GPU | CPU | RAM | Storage | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Minimum | 1080p @ 30FPS (Low) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT / Intel Arc A380 | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | 16GB (2133MHz) | 55GB HDD | Windows 10, DX12, TPM 2.0 required |
Recommended | 1440p @ 60FPS (High) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT / Intel Arc B580 | Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X | 16GB (3200MHz) | 90GB SSD | Windows 11, DX12 |
Ultra | 4K @ 60FPS (Ultra) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 / AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX | Intel Core i9-12900K / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 32GB (4800MHz) | 90GB SSD | DLSS optional |
Ultra++ (Balanced) | 4K @ 144FPS (High) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 | Intel Core i9-12900K / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 32GB (4800MHz) | 90GB SSD | DLSS Super Resolution recommended |
Ultra++ (Performance) | 4K @ 240FPS (Ultra) | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 | Intel Core 9 Ultra 285K / AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 32GB (4800MHz) | 90GB SSD | DLSS + Multi Frame Generation required |
All versions demand Windows 11 (64-bit), DirectX 12, TPM 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot, HVCI, and VBS to be enabled.
Battlefield 6 will also support GeForce NOW, though let’s be honest, cloud gaming and competitive shooters don’t mix. Even on RTX 5080 servers, latency is still latency.

With the full specs now out, the question is simple, can your rig survive the warzone when Battlefield 6 drops later this week?
