Assetto Corsa Rally is set to bring high-speed rally racing to PC on November 13, when it launches in Early Access on Steam. Priced at $29.99, this new entry in the famous Assetto Corsa series is being developed by Supernova Games Studios in partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni, the creators of the original racing simulation.
The game is built using the same realistic driving engine that made Assetto Corsa so popular among sim racers. However, this time, it has been redesigned for the intense world of rally racing. With a focus on realism, Assetto Corsa Rally promises players an experience that feels true to life where every surface, weather condition, and car movement matters.

The developers have worked closely with KUNOS Simulazioni to ensure the physics engine meets the high standards of accuracy and realism that fans expect. Players will notice how temperature, humidity, and surface type affect grip and handling, forcing them to adapt to every corner and condition.
One of the most impressive features is the use of laser-scan technology for every rally stage. This means the roads, terrain, and even vegetation are recreated with exact detail from real-life locations. The Early Access version will feature 33 km of fully scanned roads, including stages in Wales and Alsace. There will be 10 rally cars to drive, from legendary Group B cars to modern Rally2 vehicles.

Assetto Corsa Rally will also include several gameplay modes, triple-screen support, and eventually online multiplayer as development continues. The full version of the game is expected to offer over 120 km of rally stages, more than 30 cars, a career mode, a rally school, and complete VR support.
The cars themselves are modelled using laser scans and official CAD files for unmatched accuracy. Players can expect an advanced damage system that not only changes how the car looks after a crash but also affects how it drives. The sound design has also been given special attention, with real recordings of acceleration, braking, and drifting. Co-driver pacenotes, recorded by real professionals, add to the authenticity.

In a statement, Mauro Notarberardino, Studio Director at Supernova Games, said the team created Assetto Corsa Rally to fill the gap left by the absence of a modern rally simulator. “With the support of drivers, engineers, and experts, we’ve built something that truly represents rally racing,” he said.
Marco Massarutto, Co-Founder of KUNOS Simulazioni, added that developing a dedicated rally simulation allowed them to push the limits of physics and vehicle behaviour further than ever before.
Fans can get an early taste of Assetto Corsa Rally this weekend at the SimRacing Expo in Dortmund, where it will be showcased in partnership with Fanatec and South West Vision.
With its mix of advanced physics, beautiful visuals, and deep attention to detail, Assetto Corsa Rally looks ready to become the next big name in realistic rally racing simulations.
