ARC Raiders is off to a thunderous start. Embark Studios’ latest extraction shooter dropped just yesterday and already smashed past 250,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it the biggest launch of its kind on the platform. Yep, it even outdid The Finals in day-one numbers.

But Embark isn’t taking a victory lap just yet. Less than 24 hours after launch, the team rolled out the official roadmap of ARC Raiders for 2025, teasing what players can expect before the year wraps up, and there’s plenty coming.

Two major updates before year’s end

November will bring a hefty update with new quests, community events, a fresh map, and new ARC machines to take down. Then in December, things get festive, Snowfall will arrive as a new weather condition, alongside a new expedition and a fresh raider deck to shake up gameplay.

The studio also dropped a heartfelt thank-you note to fans, promising to keep improving the game with community feedback. “This is only the beginning,” they wrote.

And if you’re wondering how the servers held up? Pretty damn well. Embark’s already issued a quick hotfix for minor server and animation hiccups, but launch day went smoother than most AAA online games. Not bad for an indie team.

ARC Raiders is available now on Steam, and it looks like Embark’s just getting started.
