The Blood of Dawnwalker is still firmly locked in for 2026, and Rebel Wolves has now removed any lingering doubt with a fresh “Launch Year Special” video aimed directly at fans.
The Blood of Dawnwalker Launch Year Special
The update features studio founder Konrad Tomaszkiewicz alongside Global Community Lead Dominika Burza, both reflecting on the game’s first year since its reveal. The pair highlighted the strong reaction to the cinematic trailer, early gameplay footage, and public showings at major events, making it clear that player interest has not gone unnoticed.
While Burza confirmed a 2026 launch window, a release date remains under wraps. Instead, the studio is promising a more open year ahead. New gameplay mechanics, locations, characters, creatures, and music are all set to be revealed gradually. To mark the moment, the team also shared the game’s main musical theme, offering another glimpse at its atmosphere.

What stands out is how much community feedback has already influenced development. Directional combat is still present, but players can now opt for a more classic action RPG feel. Other adjustments include improved ability flow, a radial menu that slows time rather than stopping it, and separate camera controls for combat and exploration.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, The Blood of Dawnwalker is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. For now, it continues to look like one of the more serious RPG contenders of 2026.
