The shadows are calling. Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have just unleashed a free demo for Little Nightmares III, and it’s live right now on every platform.
This isn’t just a teaser reel, it’s a playable slice of the nightmare. The demo drops you straight into the Necropolis, the opening section of the game, and wastes no time setting the mood. Claustrophobic corridors, eerie sound design, and that familiar sense of dread are all here from the start.
Little Nightmares III – The Necropolis Demo
You’ll step into the shoes of Low and Alone, two best friends trapped in the Spiral, a twisted collection of lands where reality bends and shadows stalk. Together, they’ll face puzzles, deadly traps, and something far worse. For the first time in the series, you don’t have to go it alone. Online co-op lets you bring a friend into the nightmare, or you can tackle it solo with AI support.

The big moment? A horrifying encounter with the Monster Baby. One stare from this grotesque giant, and you’re stone. It’s easily the kind of set-piece that’ll have fans buzzing until release day.
The demo runs about 30 minutes, but there’s a catch – your progress won’t carry over. Little Nightmares III officially launches on 10 October for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch (yes, Switch 2 too), and PC.
