IGN has released the first 13 minutes of gameplay from REANIMAL, giving fans a closer look at the upcoming horror adventure. The game comes from Tarsier Studios, the team behind Little Nightmares I & II.

REANIMAL tells the story of a brother and sister trapped on a dark island. Their goal is to save their missing friends and escape the place they once called home. The developers have promised an experience that is both tense and atmospheric, filled with danger at every turn.

Players will explore eerie locations across the island, each holding its own secrets. The path forward is only part of the journey, with side areas adding to the story. True to Tarsier’s style, the game mixes unsettling environments with disturbing child characters and terrifying monsters. These designs take inspiration from broken pasts and haunting fears.

The game can be played solo or with others, featuring both online and local co-op. It will also use a shared fixed camera, making the cramped settings feel even more intense.

While no release date has been announced yet, fans of Little Nightmares will surely want to keep an eye on this one.
