The future sucks. Earth’s toast, humans are sterile, and the only solution is to kidnap women from the past. That’s the world of Code Violet, the third-person action horror game from TeamKill Media, officially launching 14 November on PlayStation 5 for $49.99 / ~£39.99.

And yep, there’s a Digital Deluxe Edition too priced at $59.99 / ~£47.99 with five over-the-top outfits, an avatar, and the full soundtrack. Whether you want to play as DinoMatrix or Star Shadow Siren, they’ve got you covered.

Pre-orders are already live on the PlayStation Store, and all versions come with some retro flair. You’ll get the “Retro American Bombshell Pinup Set”, featuring two outfits, a cherry pie earring set, and a deadly submachine gun named the Annihilator. Because why not fight dinosaurs in a swimsuit?

Earth is gone. Trappist 1-E is worse. Also, dinosaurs.

Code Violet takes place in the 25th century. Humanity has fled to a distant planet after Earth became unliveable. But things have gone from bad to prehistoric. To save the species, the Aion colony starts abducting women from the past. You’re one of them.

You wake up as Violet Sinclair, inside a facility crawling with dinosaurs and secret experiments. It’s not just about shooting your way out, managing gear, sneaking past raptors, and solving puzzles are just as important. It’s got that Resident Evil flavour, but with time travel and sci-fi weirdness too.

Here’s what to expect from Code Violet

  • Survival horror with tight resources and pressure
  • Third-person action with melee and ranged combat
  • Ray-traced visuals using Unreal Engine’s Megalights
  • 3D audio that tracks every roar and footstep
  • DualSense support with haptics and adaptive triggers
  • A sci-fi story packed with conspiracy and betrayal
  • Real puzzles with mechanical and environmental logic
  • Smart, aggressive dinosaur AI

Code Violet launches 14 November. PS5 only. Prehistoric panic included.
