Opus Major is a new Paris-based studio. It’s built by industry veterans from Ubisoft and other top teams. Their debut game MAJJAM is still early in development, but you can already register for its playtest on the official site.

The idea is simple but exciting. Music is not just part of the game it is the game. You move, fight, explore, and solve puzzles through rhythm and melody.

“Our dream is to make the world jam together,” said founders Pierre-Armand Nicq and Jean-Nicolas Vernin.

What MAJJAM is all about

In MAJJAM, you don’t need to know music. You don’t need to be a musician. Just join in and jam. The game syncs everything so players always stay in harmony. There’s no lag and no pressure to hit the right note. It’s not a rhythm game. It’s more about expression.

The world reacts to your jams. When you play music with others, the environment changes. Fog lifts, puzzles unlock, and new paths appear.

You’ll fight back a dark force called Kode. It spreads fog and blocks areas. But your music pushes it back. The more you jam, the more the world opens up.

Play your way

There are different characters to choose from. Each one has a unique musical style and look. You can use strings, drums, or other sounds. As you play, you’ll unlock new musical powers and abilities.

Every action in MAJJAM connects to music. You’ll move, fight, and solve problems using sounds. The more you play with others, the stronger your jam gets.

MAJJAM is a bold new idea in co-op gaming. It’s about sound, teamwork, and good vibes. You can sign up for the playtest now on the official site.
