Wuchang: Fallen Feathers system requirements are lower now but there’s a catch

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is nearly here, and the devs have quietly dropped the final PC system requirements on Steam. The good news? They’re a lot more forgiving than what we saw earlier this year. The not-so-good news? These numbers only work with DLSS or FSR enabled, so don’t skip the fine print.

Here’s what you need to run Wuchang on PC

Spec CategoryMinimumRecommended

Yep, the minimum and recommended specs are closer than you’d expect both need 16GB of RAM and GPUs that support modern upscaling. So while a GTX 1060 can technically run it, don’t expect much without DLSS or FSR helping things along.

And let’s be honest: the devs didn’t give us any target framerate or resolution, so there’s no way to know if these setups are good for 1080p at 60fps, or if they’re just trying to keep frame pacing above water.

DLSS and FSR aren’t just bonuses they’re essential

The real trick here is that all this performance balancing seems to rely entirely on upscaling tech. Without DLSS (for NVIDIA) or FSR (for AMD), you’re probably not going to have a good time. And Intel’s Arc A750 gets a mention too, but again only with upscaling switched on.

It’s clear Wuchang was built with modern rendering shortcuts in mind. It’s a clever way to hit more machines, but it also means base-level performance might not be pretty if you’re on older hardware without upscaling support.

Mark your calendar Wuchang drops July 24

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers launches July 24 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox and it’s hitting Xbox Game Pass on day one.

So if you’ve got the gear (and the upscaling), you’re in. Just don’t skip the settings menu.
