AMD has now officially revealed the prices for its powerful Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series processors. These workstation CPUs were announced last month, but pricing was kept under wraps until now.
Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series prices
The Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series features up to 96 cores, aimed at high-end work tasks like 3D rendering and video editing. As expected, these chips carry a high price tag. Here are the prices shared today:

- Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9955WX (16 cores) – $1,649
- Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9965WX (24 cores) – $2,899
- Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9975WX (32 cores) – $4,099
- Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9985WX (64 cores) – $7,999
- Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9995WX (96 cores) – $11,699
Prices for the 12-core 9945WX were not shared.
Despite the high cost, the price per core becomes lower on the bigger chips. But these 350W TDP processors are not for normal home use.

Along with prices, AMD also shared new benchmark numbers. The company compared the top-end 9995WX with Intel’s Xeon W9-3595X processor. According to AMD, the 9995WX is 40–145% faster depending on the test.
That said, it’s worth noting Intel’s W9-3595X has 60 cores and costs $5,889. It might have been fairer to compare it with AMD’s 64-core 9985WX instead, as both have a similar core count and price level.
For professionals needing extreme power, AMD’s Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series now gives clear options with official pricing to match.
