Troublemaker: Raise Your Gang and throw hands on Switch this July

Troublemaker: Raise your Gang

Troublemaker: Raise Your Gang is finally punching its way onto Switch on July 31, publisher Soft Source Publishing and developer Gamecom Team have confirmed. If you missed it before, this isn’t your average school sim. Think less homework, more beatdowns.

Troublemaker originally launched on PC back in March 2023 (Steam, Epic, GOG), and later landed on Xbox in October. Now it’s Nintendo’s turn to get schooled. A full-on sequel Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream is already cooking, by the way.

Set in a fictional Indonesian high school, you play as Budi, a transfer student thrown into a wild yearly tradition: a no-holds-barred student fighting tournament called Raise Your Gang. It’s like Yakuza met River City Ransom and got lost on a field trip.

You’ll throw fists, fly-kick rivals, and pull off more than 30 different moves in over-the-top brawls. But you’re not alone. Budi rolls with Parakacuk, his gang of schoolyard legends brains, brawn, and chaos included. Rani’s got the brains, Zaenal’s the tank, and Boby… is Boby.

Outside of combat, there’s downtime too. Hang out with your girlfriend. Climb the popularity charts. Knock out homework. Gather collectibles. And whatever you do, don’t get arrested.

This is high school just with more bruises, cooler friends, and way fewer consequences.
