Cyberpunk 2077 just won’t go quietly. CD Projekt RED has announced yet another major update, Patch 2.3 and it’s getting the full spotlight today during a new REDstreams showcase. Despite the years (and drama), it looks like Night City still has a few miles left in the tank.
The livestream kicks off Wednesday, July 16, at 8am PT / 4pm BST, and you’ll be able to watch it live on Twitch or YouTube. Hosting duties fall to familiar faces: associate game director Paweł Sasko, who’s now working on the Cyberpunk sequel, and Adrien Jouannet, lead designer at Virtuos.
And while CDPR is keeping specifics under wraps for now, the teaser on X (formerly Twitter) gives us a clear signal:cars. Yes, Patch 2.3 looks like it’s all about vehicles, with the post teasing: “We’re driving into Patch 2.3… to check what’s under the hood.” There’s even a tyre emoji, just in case that wasn’t on-the-nose enough. So, expect some serious tuning or maybe long-awaited vehicle customisation.
Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Apple
But that’s not all happening this week. Cyberpunk 2077 is finally pulling into Apple territory. On July 17, the game officially lands on Apple Silicon Macs, making it the second new platform in 2025 following its debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. For a game that launched in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is weirdly thriving in its afterlife.

Let’s not forget, this is a game that’s already sold over 30 million copies. With the Switch 2 and Mac versions now in play, those numbers could start climbing again. CDPR may be done with major expansions, but they’re clearly not done with Cyberpunk 2077 just yet.
