ROG Xbox Ally prices leak early and they’re not too bad

ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X

The prices for the ROG Xbox Ally handhelds have leaked online. This time, it came from ASUS itself. Spanish site 3DJuegos spotted the details.

The base model will cost €599 (about $650 or £505). The more powerful X model will be €899 (around $975 or £760). These prices are not cheap, but they make sense. Other gaming handhelds cost around the same.

What’s inside the ROG Xbox Ally

The base version runs on the AMD Ryzen Z2A chip. It is made for decent gaming with good battery life.

The Ally X uses the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme. It will be faster and better for heavy games.

Both models skip OLED screens. That was a choice. ASUS wanted VRR support and lower power use. OLED didn’t fit those goals.

Launch could happen soon

There’s no date yet. But rumours say October.

With prices now out, the full reveal might be near. Keep an eye out if you plan to buy one. These could sell fast.
