EA Sports has teased the comeback of its college basketball series. A new tweet posted today simply says:
“Bring the Madness. Let’s run it back. #CBB”
The tweet hints at a return to the court after more than a decade. EA used to release college basketball games every year from 1998 to 2009. These included NCAA March Madness (1998–2007) and NCAA Basketball (2008–2009).
The series stopped without warning and never returned—until now. While there’s no official name yet, the new game will likely be called EA Sports College Basketball. That would follow the same naming as EA Sports College Football, which is also making a comeback.
There’s no release date or trailer at the moment. But the tweet shows that EA is working on something. It’s likely more news will follow soon.
Fans have waited years for this. And it looks like EA is finally ready to bring it back.
