Alphacool has revealed new Core series GPU water blocks for the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 cards. These blocks come with sleek, matching backplates. Built for top performance, they aim to push cooling efficiency even further.

The design is completely overhauled. Alphacool has refined the spacing between the cooler and the PCB. Water flow was tested and optimised using simulations and real-world testing. As a result, the cooler base and jetplate now perform better than before.

Each block uses a solid copper base. It’s chrome-plated for extra durability and smoother contact. Brass fittings with a nylon cover add to the safety. Overall, it’s built tough and designed to last.
