Big Boot Games has revealed that Meteora: The Race Against Spacetime is coming in 2026. It\’s part of the PlayStation India Hero Project and will release on PS5, PS VR2, and PC via Steam. You can wishlist it now on the PlayStation Store.
In Meteora, you are the meteor. There’s no car. No ship. Just you, blazing through space. The goal is simple: survive and reach the portal. Each level is packed with dangerous asteroids, ice fields, and electric debris.
You’ll need sharp reflexes and smart choices. Each stage has a mini-goal. Beat it to unlock the exit. It’s not just speed that matters—it’s how well you adapt.
Meteora is more than just speed
You collect Stardust to move faster and Energy Crystals to grow stronger. Do you stay small and fast, or grow big and tanky? You choose, and the choice changes every level.
But it’s not just about obstacles. Other meteors join the race. Some want to crash into you. Some carry boosts. Some are both. You can take them down for a moment of power and invincibility. These takedowns are risky but worth it.

Built for VR, ready for flat screen
On PlayStation VR2, Meteora becomes even more intense. You’ll feel every crash, shake, and surge through the Sense controllers. Speeding behind a rival? You’ll feel their heat. Hit ice or get shocked? Your hands will feel it.
The game also works great in non-VR mode. On PS5 or PC, you’ll get the full experience with no features cut. Both modes include full gameplay and accessibility options.

Old-school feel, new-school tech
Meteora is a tribute to arcade racing, with a twist. It’s fast, stylish, and brutal. You’ll need quick thinking and fast fingers to survive. Every moment is a test. Every level brings chaos. If you like action racers with a challenge, this one’s for you.

Meteora: The Race Against Spacetime arrives in 2026. Get ready to race through the stars.
